Thermal Transfer Printer Consumables
Thermal Transfer printers do not use any form of ink or toner to print. Instead, these printers use a roller to feed the paper through a heated printhead to transfer pigment from the ink ribbon onto the label solution. Most printers are only compatible with one ribbon – which come in a variety of colors – but some of our solutions can handle two different color ribbons.
While these printers are unable to print complex imagery, their durability and precision are unmatched and designed for applications that are exposed to the most extreme environments. A solution to overcoming color limitations is to purchase preprinted labels with imagery in place before you print.
