Essential Functions
- Daily update QEHS Visual Management Board and Safety Cross.
- QEHS Audits according to Plan -Daily, Weekly, Monthly, as well as coordination of GEMBA plan and closing of resulting actions.
- Daily monitoring and typing logs of the diverse types of waste. (Legal requirement)
- Daily walks to review environmental and safety conditions – (Legal requirement)
- Management of SDS safety sheets
- Onboarding training of QEHS System.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify their root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize future risks.
- Coordination of EHS studies and procedures according to the annual program and current legislation and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and assess preventive policies and documentation to reduce risks, ensuring full compliance with organizational standards as well as relevant national, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement training programs for all staff on EHS practices, fostering a strong safety culture across the organization.
- Benchmark all units EHS initiatives and implementing execution when be applicable.
- Organize, train and coordinate emergency brigades, mixed commission and committees.
- Responsible for monitoring the WebTraining.
- Provide support in vaccination campaigns and other health and hygiene campaigns.
- Responsible for the implementation of the COVID protocol and periodic examinations
- Responsible for personal protective equipment delivery, replacement, purchases
- Work with the purchasing and production area to review chemicals used in the plant.
- Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of emergency response plans and procedures.
- Ensure that the work of contractors aligns with the safety standards established in the company.
- Quality inspection of the purchased finished good products
- Monthly revision of external and internal calibration of measurement devices
- Participation in continual improvement projects based upon internal audits and departmental issues.
- Support to the Quality Manager and CQE in customer complaints be required.
- Documentation in the IMS SharePoint
- Backup of the CQE when be required
- Participate in customer, government, and internal audits as needed.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience:
Accident Prevention Plans and Programs
Knowledge of ISO 45000, ISO14000, NOM, STPS, OSHA regulations, and Mexican legislation
Accident Investigation
Safety Records
Providing EHS training programs
Computer Skills:
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required
